NHBRC New build construction entails everything from the ground up. From the foundation to roof height and everything in between falls under new build.
AEP prides itself on the quality of our projects.
We understand the that even the smallest detail, if not paid enough attention to, could lead to disaster which is why we ensure that management will always be present during each phase and new discipline of the project. That great attention to detail will remain priority ensuring that excellence can be presented with each and every discipline.
Renovation and additions are projects that can vary from minor to major building projects.
It is the extension, addition or complete ‘do-over’ of or to the existing structure. For such projects, it is always best to use a building contractor that Is NHBRC registered, although this is not a legal obligation/requirement.
However, by using a contractor that is NHBRC registered, you can be assured that the quality of the project will be done to a satisfactory level and that the contractor is less likely to run away with your money or leave the project halfway if difficult issues arise.
This is not a guarantee, but rather a defense against this sort of thing happening.
The time frame for renovations or additions varies depending on the scope of the project, but an average renovation takes anywhere from one to three months.
African Eagle Projects does all types of renovation, from the smallest project to larger ones. There is literally no project too big for AEP.
We also do minor work projects. Such projects can be taken as individual disciplines, be it one or more of the disciplines listed below. We deliver a top quality finish on all of our disciplines and projects and the client can rest assured that management will always be available.
Our disciplines are as follows:
- kinds of Flooring
- Electrical work
If you only require one or a few of the disciplines to be done, despite the size of the job, AEP will help you get it done.
AEP will give you a quote for the entire project, including our management fee, which will be a percentage of the total cost of the project. Further discussions and negotiations will take place once a meeting has been arranged.
AEP will manage the entire project as per normal, but the client will manage the funds thereof.
This option normally works for the type of client that wants to be hands-on with regards to the finance of the project.
AEP will provide the client with a quotation to do the wet works (Phase 1) only.
This is for the foundation to wall plate height and we will ensure water tightness, meaning windows and doors, as well as the roof, will be completed.
Once the first phase is complete, we then do the finishing phase.
This also works for the client as they have all the control over their finances in what some would call the most crucial and expensive part of the project.
Please note that the above-mentioned management styles are subject to approval from banking institutions, i.e. if a bond or loan is used to fund the project.
If however the project is done with cash, no such approval is required.
