How we handle your information, in line with POPIA. Last updated September 2026.
African Eagle Projects ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.
We are a residential building company based in the Helderberg, Western Cape.
When you contact us or send an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and details about your building project, such as the location, project type, size, budget and timing. We collect this through the forms on this website, through our adverts on Google, Facebook and Instagram, and through WhatsApp, email and phone calls.
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare and discuss quotes, and provide our building services if you choose to work with us. We do not sell your information to anyone.
By sending us your details, you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list off the back of an enquiry, and if we ever want to send you anything else we will ask you first.
We share your information only with the partners who help deliver your project, such as our architects, engineers and suppliers, and only where it is necessary to do the work. We may also share it where the law requires us to.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and to prevent unauthorised access to it.
We keep your information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows, plus any period the law requires. After that we delete it securely.
Under POPIA you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to us using it. Email [email protected] and we will attend to it.
Our Information Officer is Davon Arendse, and he can be reached at [email protected] or on 062 233 8547.
This website uses Google measurement tags so we can see which adverts bring people to the site. These tags may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
