What we do here
We are a fully registered residential building contractor, NHBRC registered and a B-BBEE Level 1 contributor, with one owner, Davon Arendse, hands on across every job. The work we have finished in Somerset West covers most of what a homeowner is likely to need: a three house development taken from bare trenches, a house taken down to its foundations and rebuilt as a double storey, a whole new floor added to a home the family never moved out of, and a new home built from a cleared plot up against the Helderberg Nature Reserve. There is more of it going up.
That last one matters more than it sounds. Building a new house on an empty stand is the easy version. Working on a home somebody is living in, or inside an estate with its own rules about hours, access and how the site is kept, asks a lot more of the way a site is run. That is the version we have already done here.

House Erinvale sits on the Erinvale Golf Course, a private estate and about as prestigious an address as the Helderberg has. The brief was simple to say and harder to do: add an entire storey to a house the family was still living in, and put the living space up where the views are.
Because we were building off an existing house, every new wall had to land where the structure could carry it. Our teams worked around the family, kept the ground floor liveable throughout, and got the roof closed in before the winter rain came.
